The attacking team tries to plant the bomb at one of the enemy's bombsites. The attacking team wins if the bomb goes off.
The defending team tries to prevent the bomb from being planted. If the bomb is planted, quickly defuse it before it goes off! The defending team wins if they successfully defend for the duration of the round.
The team that wins the most rounds wins the match.
